About the authors

The late Kenneth W. Houp was Professor of English at Pennsylvania State University.

Thomas E. Pearsall is Professor Emeritus of the Department of Rhetoric at the University of Minnesota and has also written:

  •

Elizabeth Tebeaux is Director of Distance Education and Professor of English at Texas A&M University and has also written:

  • The Emergence of a Tradition: Technical Writing in the English Renaissance, 1475-1640 (Baywood, 1996).

Sam Dragga is Professor of English at Texas Tech University and has also written:
