Oxford World's Classics
A New Look for Oxford's World Classics
Oxford is thrilled to announce the re-launch of our popular Oxford World's Classics series. The centerpiece of this exciting new initiative is an all-new cover design. The whole package is attractive, elegant, and modern. Most important, each volume reflects Oxford's commitment to scholarship, providing the most accurate text plus a wealth of other valuable features, including expert introductions by leading authorities, voluminous notes to clarify the text, up-to date bibliographies for further study, and much more. With a refined new look that will attract a new generation of readers; the Oxford World's Classics are now more appealing than ever.
The dramatic new cover design features a cleaner, more stylish, more contemporary look. A white, semi-opaque band highlights the title and author, set in a graceful, sophisticated typeface.
Within this new package readers will once again find a cornucopia of classics, upwards of seven hundred works ranging from Aesop's Fables to Zola's The Kill. The Oxford World's Classics are home to the world's great writers, thinkers, and entertainers, from Sophocles to Chekov and from King Solomon's Mines to The Wonderful World of Oz. Readers will also be thrilled to discover many hard-to-find gems, such as Foxe's Book of Martyrs and Mary Wollstonecraft's Letters Written in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.
For over 100 years Oxford World's Classics has made available the broadest spectrum of literature from around the globe. Now Oxford invites you to join in the celebration as we re-launch our timeless series.
